Success!!!

Well, if you were there you know it. The 20th was a GREAT time. If you weren't there, shame on you. You'll get another shot in the year 2012... It was great to see everyone and catch up on the life stories. We all seem to have had our ups and downs but overall everyone I got a chance to talk to seems to be well on their way living a good fulfilling life. It was fun to watch everyone just let loose. I couldn't believe how the party amped up after Brian de la Cruz took over the DJing. I sensed on Friday at the icebreaker that we were all in for a good time. What a weekend it was! I asked people to send me their pictures if possible and I will try to get them up on this blog. Stay tuned for that. My email address is wardsix@comcast.net So, I wish all my 87's good luck and good health. Check back to see the pics and feel free to keep in touch. For all you locals- I'll do what I can to continue to bring Weirton forward as your representative in the city (God help us all, I know!!), good things are coming.

Take care,

Dave Dalrymple

I wanted to thank everyone involved in putting together our 20th reunion. It was really good to see everyone. To echo some of Dave's comments, I was very happy to see how we all have done over the years. I am so proud to have been a part of the class of 1987.
I have to admit, I was a bit sad to leave Weirton this morning. Some of you may have different feelings, but I miss and truly cherish my our times together growing up. We learned a lot in Weirton, and our experiences, relationships, and bonds have forever shaped the people we have become today. Life has many challenges and many rewards, and looking back on it, our time together was the best of everything. It was a time of innocence, discovery, anticipation, and relationships that were forged by genuine sincerity without intent of gain. Even though we have traveled many different paths in our life, all of you have been an important part of mine.
I sincerely wish all of you the best and look forward to seeing you at the 25th.

With Best Regards,
John Munoz

Thank you so much to the reunion committee!! Everything was perfect. I must agree with John in saying that I am proud to have had the priviledge to be part of the class of '87 and to have grown up in such a great community!!

I hope that everyone had a safe return home - it was great to see all of you!!

Susan and Amy - I will be more than happy to assist with the 25th!!

hey hey 87 red riders!

it was an absolute blast to see everyone and catchup. too bad we didn't have more time to hangout, so my only suggestion for a 25th reunion is that it should take place in the summertime.

my sister's 30th weir high reunion took place at the serbian picnic grounds this past july. she tells me there's more than enough room under the canopy for 200+ people, an eating area and a stage (for a DJ? for karaoke? charades? haha)

so keep me on a short leash to help out with the 25th. I do have experience throwing parties :)

take care and happy holidays-
Brian de la Cruz
